From the factory, Audi's 3.0T engine is equipped with a plastic thermostat housing. While sufficient when new, its plastic construction is prone to degradation over time. After enduring thousands of heat cycles and consistent exposure to chemical-rich antifreeze, the housing becomes brittle and begins to crack. Once the material is compromised, it can lead to a significant coolant leak, which, if left unchecked, may result in overheating and severe engine damage. Our ECS 3.0T Billet Aluminum Thermostat Upgrade was designed, engineered, tested, and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long-term product testing.

The ECS Tuning Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) Kit boosts power and lowers intercooler outlet temps by maximizing core volume and more efficiently dispelling heat over the OEM sandwich-mounted intercooler. The factory intercooler is positioned between two hot heat exchangers, the A/C Condenser and Radiator, and suffers from an undersized and underperforming tube and fin core from the factory. Upgrading the OE-location intercooler is difficult for most hobbyists and is hidden within the core support. An alternative choice is our In-House Designed and Engineered FMIC Kit which relocates the charge cooler front and center, right behind your front bumper cover for maximum available airflow while moving it away from the hot heat exchangers inside the engine bay, all while adding an aggressive appearance to your turbocharged VW!
Our design features high quality cast aluminum end tanks with an integral flow divider on the inlet for even flow distribution, a massive 26” x 7 ⅞” x 3.0” (614.25 in.³ volume) aluminum bar and plate core, which lends to an increase in volume of +19.78% over the OEM GTI intercooler, for maximum heat dissipation, bolt-on powder-coated steel brackets, which require absolutely NO drilling or cutting, and 5-ply pre-molded silicone couplers with T-Bolt hose clamps. Our intercooler was in-house engineered to provide a bolt-on cooling solution for the VW MK7 GTI and Golf R market. Through our in-house evaluation on our ECS Shop MK7 GTI, we measured an increase of +24 WHP @ 6,400 RPM and +18 WTQ @ 6,375 RPM along with an increase of 19% in cooling efficiency and 80° F. lower intercooler outlet temperatures after 3 consecutive dyno pulls.

MOUNTING BRACKET KIT
Our unique design to mount the intercooler makes this kit truly remarkable! By bolting our brackets to the lower crash beam bolts, absolutely no drilling into your core support or drilling into your beam are required! Simply remove your lower crash beam bolts to install our brackets. The beam does NOT need to be removed.
Made from rigid ⅛” thick steel then powder-coated wrinkle-black for corrosion protection
Pre-installed zinc-plated rivet nuts make for a simple bolt-on solution to our intercooler with our included stainless steel bolts and washers
Included in the kit are our horn brackets which position the horns closer to the beam to make way for silicone charge pipe routing.
A pre-welded tab on the driver's side bracket maintains a mounting point for the ambient air temperature sensor bracket.

Vehicles with SAI (Secondary Air Injection) will need to bend the wiring harness bracket 45° to clear silicone coupler. This can easily be bent to original form if ever desired.
Be advised this will NOT FIT pre-facelift MK7s with forward collision warning radar (large black sensor in lower, center bumper grille).

In most vehicle applications, the corrugated turbo inlet hose found in the intake system is not designed for performance or modification. It was designed to get the job done, and when adding a performance filter, intake, or tune the stock inlet hose can start to show it's weakness when suction from the turbocharger is increased.
The ECS Silicone Turbo Inlet Hose was designed in-house with a high quality 5-ply construction to provide a strong but flexible structure and secure fit, which replaces the factory corrugated hose. A smooth interior provides unimpeded airflow, while the smooth, unassuming exterior adds an appearance upgrade to any engine bay.
ECS' Silicone Turbo Inlet Hose arrives with the necessary clamps for proper installation.

When combined with power-robbing abrupt and sharp bends, inferior rubber material, and small diameter tubing, it's easy to see why your intercooler pipes and couplers should be replaced, even on stock engines.
Our in-house designed and engineered High Flow Throttle Body Pipe Kit features mandrel bent, bead rolled, powdercoated aluminum plumbing from the outlet of the intercooler directly to the throttle body, along with smoother flowing silicone couplers, stainless steel T-Bolt clamps and all new installation accessories for an easy, direct bolt on installation.

Tubing - 2.50" OD CNC-mandrel bent aluminum with bead rolled ends and Tig-welded factory-location MAP sensor flange and noise pipe connection. Finished in a durable black powdercoat for long last great looks. Tested to 44psi at 0% leakdown to ensure there are no leaks.
Couplers - Fiberglass-reinforced silicone hoses provide the necessary connections while optimizing airflow. Rated to withstand up to 250° F. and 45psi of boost pressure.

Our caps are made out of a solid piece of 6061-T6 billet aluminum and Type II black anodized for appearance and corrosion resistance. This cap is not only designed to look great, featuring a post-machined universal "brake fluid" symbol, but fit and function just like the factory part with improved ergonomics. The interior is designed to retain the OE gasket, simply transfer the gasket from your OEM cap to our ECS Billet Cap. The details matter! Dress up your engine bay by removing the cheap and generic plastic cap and replacing it with a full billet cap - not just an overlay. Designed and engineered in-house by ECS Tuning, this precision machined billet aluminum cap is just what you need!
Our caps are made out of a solid piece of 6061-T6 billet aluminum and Type II black anodized for appearance and corrosion resistance. This cap is not only designed to look great, featuring a post-machined universal "brake fluid" symbol, but fit and function just like the factory part with improved ergonomics. The interior is designed to retain the OE gasket, simply transfer the gasket from your OEM cap to our ECS Billet Cap. Every detail was thought out, even the custom designed threads that maintain OEM ventilation functionality!

If you're looking for an easy, inexpensive way to enhance your underhood appearance or if your engine bay could use a touch of premium carbon fiber then we have you COVERED! Our ECS Tuning in-house designed and engineered Carbon Fiber Expansion Tank Cover Kit features precision 3D designed, gloss clear-coated carbon fiber overlays that simply lay over top of your OEM expansion tank and enhances the underhood appeal while covering up the ugly, grey plastic coolant tank.
Our precisely modeled 2-piece overlays feature a smooth, appealing exterior design with provisions machined for clearance on OE features such as coolant hose connections and the coolant level sensor. Pre-applied high-temperature automotive-grade 3M foam tape ensures the parts stay in position while creating a great seal between the upper and lower covers.
PART DESIGN
Designed in-house using state of the art 3D laser scanning and CAD technology for precision fitment
Made from lightweight, hand-laid epoxy resin pre-impregnated 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber cloth and autoclave cured. Clear coated for excellent finish durability and UV resistance.
Hides the ugly, grey plastic expansion tank
Pre-applied foam tape creates a lasting connection to the expansion tank while creating a seal between the upper/lower covers. 3M foam tape is resistant to the continuous heat in the engine bay and is resistant to chemical degradation.
Lug features on the upper overlay covers the expansion tank vent and create a unique stylistic design
Incorporated sight-window allows visibility of coolant level with both covers installed
Expansion tank mounting bolts remain accessible, allowing removal of expansion tank while keeping the covers in place
Compatible with the following expansion tank caps: OEM, Audi R8, Porsche 991 and Gen3 "B"

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT
Ensure your OEM expansion tank is clean and free of debris prior to installing self-adhesive foam strips. We recommend wiping the contact surfaces with isopropyl alcohol prior to installation. Reference our General Installation Guide for tips and suggestions.

Our ECS Tuning Textured Black Engine Cover transforms the engine bay in your VW/Audi MQB Gen3 vehicle with sharp styling, covering what needs covered and leaving the rest to the already-great appearance of the engine bay. Our design features incorporate the factory intake manifold design elements, while covering the unsightly, plastic parts that are often difficult to keep clean. Oil changes and between service top-offs can be completed with the engine cover in place as we designed ample clearance for the oil filter housing, dipstick and oil fill cap. Exposed ignition cutouts allow for visibility of upgraded coil packs. Finally a decorative aluminum logo plate completes the design.
PART DESIGN

Pre-installed billet aluminum mounting posts bolt on to the engine cover to avoid potential bonding adhesive failure at high temperatures
Further design considerations were strategically made such as clearance for "most" aftermarket intake systems and ECS catch can hoses

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT
The included ball studs thread quickly into the unused OE plastic intake manifold bosses. From there the pre-installed engine cover mounting grommets snap right over the ball studs. The ECS Engine Cover can then be installed or removed just like the factory cover without any further tools needed.
* While removing the engine cover, please pull from the underside mounting post area during removal to avoid any potential damage.
** Other brand underhood parts may or may not fit with our engine cover such as oil catch can systems, oil filter housings, blow off and diverter valves (including spacers), boost taps, etc.

The two most popular modifications to the 2.5T engine are intakes and turbo inlet pipes. Our 4.0" Silicone Turbo Inlet Adapter allows you to easily mate your ECS Tuning Kohlefaser Luft-Technik Intake system to the popular OE location 4.0" aftermarket turbo inlet pipes on the market.

Works with aftermarket OE location 4.0" cast/aluminum turbo inlet pipes
In most vehicle applications, the corrugated turbo inlet hose found in the intake system is not designed for performance or modification. It was designed to get the job done, and when adding a performance filter, intake, or tune the stock inlet hose can start to show it's weakness when suction from the turbocharger is increased.
The ECS Carbon Fiber Turbo Inlet Pipe was designed in-house and made with high quality hand laid carbon fiber layers providing a strong and secure fit. A smooth interior provides unimpeded airflow, while the carbon fiber exterior adds an appearance upgrade to any engine bay.
PART DESIGN
The carbon fiber pipe is constructed from 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber, gloss clear coated for UV and heat protection for continuous operating temperatures of up to 300°. Designed to fit perfectly in place of the factory accordion pipe, our CAD design assures a smooth gradual transition from the intake/airbox to the turbo inlet.
The included silicone hose couplers allow clean fitment of any intake setup;
The smooth, straight coupler is used with a hard mounted intake pipe configurations to the engine (such as ECS Kohlefaser Luft-Technik mounted to the cylinder head)
The accordion rubber coupler is used with OE-type mounting configurations (such as OEM airbox)
PERFORMANCE FEATURES
With its smooth interior surface as compared to the OEM accordion tube's ribbed, turbulent interior you can expect a smoother transition from air filter to the turbo inlet.
We found that utilizing the carbon inlet tube over silicone provides a stronger, more pronounced induction noise that we all love!

A last time, end-all repair of the inadequate OEM PCV hose design. By replacing the flimsy, heat hardened, OEM plastic hoses with 3-ply fiberglass reinforced silicone hoses, pre-molded to OEM specifications you can be certain to cure the inevitable return of many oil leaks and driveability problems that would have been.
Our ECS Tuning Silicone Upper & Lower PCV Hose Set includes the upper (manifold) PCV hose and lower (PCV to engine block) hose in gloss black silicone material and stainless steel smooth band hose clamps so you don't have to try and scour the garage or local parts stores.

Molded to OEM specifications, these are a direct replacement to the failure-prone, heat-hardened plastic hoses that nobody likes to mess with!

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT
Installation is the reverse order of removal of your OEM hoses, however, with our included worm gear clamps to be used to secure both hose end connections. Please reference your service manual on accessibility.

The ECS Tuning Textured Fuse Box / ECU Cover adds unique, affordable styling to the underhood of your MQB platform vehicle without any permanent modifications. Easily installs with our conveniently pre-applied 3M tape to the underside of the cover. It's unique styling not only covers the black plastic fuse box lid, but it also has a wing that extends over the unsightly ECU clamshell bracket to further enhance engine bay styling.
PART DESIGN
Our in-house engineering team was tasked with making our cover fit perfectly atop the fuse box lid and to also cover the ugly ECU clamshell bracket. It's design perfectly works with both standard AND lock-box cover ECU's.
It also retains the quick disengagement feature of locking clips for easy removal and installation to service the fuses underneath.
The included plastic-purpose 3M tape is properly selected for the harsh goings within the engine-bay environment and easily sticks on to the fuse box lid with relative ease once cleaned and dried.
Manufactured from a specific resin with a heat additive to stand up to temperatures in excess of 300°F.

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT
Remove the fuse box lid, clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol, peel the tape and press firmly to stick the 3M tape to the surface.

The factory plastic charge pipes and flanges were never designed to handle the stress and abuse of higher boost levels much beyond stock. When combined with power-robbing abrupt and sharp bends, kinks, inferior plastic materials, and small diameter tubing, it's easy to see why your charge pipes and should be replaced, even on stock vehicles.
At ECS Tuning, we're proud to release our in house engineered High Flow Post Throttle Valve Charge Pipe Kit! Each kit comes standard with 57mm enlarged powdercoated 6063 aluminum charge pipes, 5 ply silicone turbo outlet hose, billet turbo outlet flange, 63.5mm enlarged port matched throttle body outlet, smooth flowing silicone couplers, and stainless steel T-Bolt clamps for an easy, direct bolt on upgrade.
Capable of withstanding greater heat and higher boost pressure than stock, you can expect to achieve greater reliability, less turbulence and less restriction thanks to the larger diameter tubing. Never worry about blowing couplers off of our tubes, as each tube is bead rolled and secured with stainless T-bolt clamps over our 4-ply reinforced silicone couplers.

The factory plastic charge pipes and flanges were never designed to handle the stress and abuse of higher boost levels much beyond stock. When combined with power-robbing abrupt and sharp bends, kinks, inferior plastic materials, and small diameter tubing, it's easy to see why your charge pipes and should be replaced, even on stock vehicles.
At ECS Tuning, we're proud to release our in house engineered High Flow Post Throttle Valve Charge Pipe Kit! Each kit comes standard with 57mm enlarged powdercoated 6063 aluminum charge pipes, 5 ply silicone turbo outlet hose, billet turbo outlet flange, 63.5mm enlarged port matched throttle body outlet, smooth flowing silicone couplers, and stainless steel T-Bolt clamps for an easy, direct bolt on upgrade.
Capable of withstanding greater heat and higher boost pressure than stock, you can expect to achieve greater reliability, less turbulence and less restriction thanks to the larger diameter tubing. Never worry about blowing couplers off of our tubes, as each tube is bead rolled and secured with stainless T-bolt clamps over our 4-ply reinforced silicone couplers.
